I love this therapeutic tool for kids & adults alike! Beyond educating in coping skills, it is great for helping with feeling identification -- a MAJOR problem for many of my patients. And it's fun to use - a good ice-breaker in establishing therapeutic rapport."

I was excited to receive a copy of Teri's book "Copers" and presented it to our staff the following day in our weekly meeting. It was an instant smash! Brightly colored and easy to use with clients, seven copies were ordered on the spot. Not a day went by without someone asking me when their order would be in. But more rewarding has been listening to the testimonies of my co-workers as they've reported back how easy the book is to use with clients. Their clients are able to tangibly see that there is a connection between triggers, their feelings, and how they can respond to their triggers in a healthy way. And now, the clients are beginning to purchase the books for themselves! One stated, "I wouldn't have to call you when something happens to trigger me. I can simply flip through the pages until I can find the feeling I am having and then flip through the column with coping strategies and find one that I feel like trying. I can even find two things to try!" Empowering our clients to manage their symptoms effectively, appropriately, and independently reminds us why we get out there in the trenches day after day. Thank you for this new tool to put in our toolboxes Teri!

Teri’s Coper’s Flip Book is a fabulous quick tool for all ages. I’ve recommended the book to Social Workers, Counselors and school personnel. The illustrations are clever and engaging. I love how you can choose a feeling, a need and the illustrations trigger a variety of fun and useful ideas to help anyone manage. Because of my stress I’ve been in the bathtub for the past three weeks (maybe I should pick another coper!).
